John B. Sanfilippo & Son (JBSS), maker of Fisher nuts and Orchard Valley Harvest snacks, has an exciting opportunity for an energetic and results-driven Brand Marketing Intern.
JBSS is an $870+ million business in the on-trend and growing nut category that competes across the consumer, commercial ingredient and contract manufacturing channels. The company produces nuts and nut-based snacks under its own brands (primarily Fisher®, Orchard Valley Harvest®, Squirrel Brand® and Southern Style Nuts® brands) as well as private and contracted brands. JBSS is publicly traded but still led by the founding family and hence maintains a warm family culture. JBSS is based in Elgin, Illinois.

The Marketing department is led and staffed with classically trained marketers who cut their teeth at major CPGs such as Kraft and Sara Lee. As such, JBSS offers a classical marketing experience in a more entrepreneurial environment.
The intern will assist the Senior Brand Manager on assigned projects, contribute ideas for growing the eCommerce and Fisher Chef’s Naturals® businesses, and collaborate with cross-functional staff in a corporate culture to deliver JBSS volume and profit growth.
