  • Overview

    The Human Resources Coordinator provides full, first point-of-contact Human Resources support to Company employees and addresses employee issues, initiates and executes Human Resources related programs.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Handles questions and issues in the following areas: Payroll which includes missing punches, vacation, approvals and questions from supervisors.  Takes questions, request from night shift employees to pass to HR administrator.  Relates issues to HR managers from day shift and night shift.
    • Enters data for SQF registers and helps with the SQF training.  Monitors positions open and enters in iCIMS.  Sets up all postings for open positions.  Monitors all I-9 documentation.  Enters all information in the Delta system for new hires and rehires.  Conducts E-Verify and homeland security background checks and drug screenings.
    • Processes new hires and daily orientation for temporary staff.  Enters all information in ADP and Kronos systems.
    • Complies with all safety and GMP rules.
    • Acts as back up for answering telephones, uniforms, safety shoes for second shift and assists with locker checks.  Monitors all call-in messages and enters into log.  Translates for Spanish speaking employees.
    • Is responsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP and SQF requirements.
    • Is responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to your manager.
    • Is responsible for partnering with others; Sharing knowledge, skills and information within your team and across functional areas.
    • Is responsible for enhancing technical and functional competencies, as well as professional and leadership development.


    • Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in Human Resources, Communications or a related business discipline or equivalent experience preferred.
    • Three plus years of Human Resources experience.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Effective computer skills and Microsoft Office applications.

    Job Specific Requirements:

    In the event that the Human Resources Coordinator is absent, the Department Manager is responsible for providing and equally qualified person to cover this position.
