  • Overview

    Under the direct supervision of the the Accounting Manager, the Accounting Intern will assist with year-end closing duties and preparation of annual financial statement audit. 

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare journal entries for upload into general ledger.
    • Reconciles accounts to determine accuracy of account balances and financial positions, and investigates and resolves any discrepancies.
    • Complies information and assists with preparation of financial statement support and proxy support.
    • Performs various tasks in support of the financial statement audit, such as preparing audit confirmations, gathering documentation, reviewing subsequent payments, etc.
    • Performs Ad-hoc analysis as needed
      • Responsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP ans SQF requirements
      • Responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to your manager.
      • Responsible for partnering with others; Sharing knowledge, skills and information within your team and across functional areas.
      • Responsible for enhancing technical and functional competencies, as well as professional and leadership development.


    General knowledge of accounting and the ability to apply classroom themes or past work experience to the job at hand.



    In the process of obtaining an accounting/finance bachelor's degree.
