  • Overview

    Configures, analyzes, designs, develops and maintains business systems program codes and applications to support business processes and functions.  Helps the business solve complex problems through the use of strong analytical skills and programming knowledge.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Performs application design and development utilizing Visual Studio-BIDS, SSIS, SSAS SQL components for both on premise and within Azure environments.
    • Develops, implements, troubleshoot and maintains change control and testing processes for all MS SQL Applications.
    • Develops, implements, and oversees database policies and procedures to ensure the security, integrity, and availability of databases meet established business requirements.
    • Analyzes, designs, develops, and tests stored procedures, triggers views, and user defined functions.
    • Administers SQL security including establishing and maintaining policies, roles, profiles and users.
    • Analyzes and troubleshoots the interaction between databases, operating systems, applications and cloud environment.
      • Responsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP, SQF, and regulatory requirements. 
      • Aware and accountable for maintaining and documenting preventative controls necessary to ensure food safety and quality.
      • Responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to management.
      • Responsible for partnering with others, sharing knowledge, skills and information within assigned team and across functional areas.
      • Responsible for enhancing technical and functional competencies, as well as professional and leadership development.

    Qualifications

    Education, Experience & Knowledge:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred.
    • Three to five years of SQL server database programming experience including troubleshooting and performance tuning.
    • Working knowledge/experience with SQL tools such as SSIS, SSAS, and business intelligence tools.
    • Exposure to and solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and techniques.
    • Experience with Microsoft Azure environments is a plus.
    • Experience with Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
    • Warehouse Management System experience is a plus, specifically Highjump's Warehouse Advantage product.

    • Ability to keep current on technologies through self-directed learning.
    • May require travel and the ability to life/carry up to 50 lbs.
