  • Overview

    The Jr. Electrical Engineer supports Engineering and Operations by programming machinery and internal systems.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Supports and programs the Delta building control system.
    • Supports Electrical Engineers and electricians with schematics and other support functions such as coordinating supplier visits, parts requisitions, etc.
    • Provides ongoing support of operations by troubleshooting PLCs and electrical system.
      • Responsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistency maintaining safe and quality food by following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP, and SQF requirements.
      • Responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to your manager.
      • Responsible for partnering with others; Sharing knowledge, skills and information within your team and across functional areas.
      • Responsible for enhancing technical and functional competencies, as well as professional and leadership development.

    Qualifications

    Education, Experience, and Knowledge:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline.
    • Programming experience.
    • Electrical Safety basics.
    • Knowledge in the food/nut industry high preferred.
    • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Basic troubleshooting skills.
    • Interpret schematics.
    • Basic mechanical aptitude.
    • Excellent communication skills.
