  • Overview

    The Financial Analyst (Financial Planning) utilizes accounting experience and education to develop system, procedures, and reports to gather, organize, verify relevant financial information.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Consolidates operating, financial, and inventory projects for development of short and long-term plans.
    • Prepares detailed reports and/or presentations for various level of management.
    • Prepares financial re-forecast at various times throughout fiscal year.
    • Monitors actual results of financial data against plans, forecasts, and budgets.
    • Analyzes, consolidates, and interprets financial data by assigned area.
    • Works with internal departments to expedite obtaining financial information.
    • Monitors systems and performs testing and training as needed.
    • Responsible for manufacturing, distributing, and consistently maintaining safe quality food by following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP, SQF, and regulatory requirements.
    • Aware and accountable for maintaining and documenting preventative controls necessary to ensure food safety and quality.
    • Responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to management.
    • Responsible for partnering with others, sharing knowledge, skills and information within assigned team and across functional areas.
    • Responsible for enhancing technical and functional competencies, as well as professional and leadership development.




    Education, Experience and Knowledge:

    • Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in Accounting or related discipline required.
    • Five or more years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
    • Experience with a publicly traded company preferred.

    Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:

    • CPA Certification preferred

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office applications with strong skills in Excel nd report generation.
    • Strong analytical and fact-finding skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
