    Under direct supervision the Operations Intern, Packaging monitors various packaging processes and reports on findings.  The person in this role assists in investigation of foreign material complaints and works on other projects as assigned.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Performs downtime analysis of packaging lines.
    • Conducts SUB film scrap review and identifies the root cause.  Recommends preventive actions.
    • Responsible for Preventive maintenance program completion tracking.
    • Performs reviews of efficiency reports.
    • Investigates metal foreign material complaints.
      • Responsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP and SQF requirements.
      • Responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to your manager.
      • Responsible for partnering with others; Sharing knowledge, skills and information within your team and across functional areas.
      • Responsible for enhancing technical and functional competencies, as well as professional and leadership development.





    Education, Experience, & Knowledge:

    • In the process of obtaining a bachelor's degree
    • Interest in Operations

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to operate office equipment.
    • Strong problem solving skills.
    • Ability to work in a team environment required.
    • Microsoft Office-Excel, Word, Outlook, Power-point
    • Ability to be on feet two to four hours a day.
    • Manual dexterity.
    • Walk large facilities.
