Summary of the Position:

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Sales, the Trade Analyst Intern works on various projects for the broker/business managers.  This could include input, trade spend tracking, and process improvements. 

Duties and Responsibilities

Functions Performed:

  • Learn to serve subject matter expert for trade system with internal and external customers.
  • Ensure accuracy to Trade Management process steps.
    • Assist Business Managers to ensure annual plans are loaded completely and accurately
    • Hold broker partnes accountable for moving deals from planned to committed in a timely manner
    • Address inaccuracies in a timely manner
  • Develop Broker scorecards to be used in a quarterly Plan on a Page reviews
  • Decelop and maintain trade tracking systems utilizing the trade system as primary source of information
  • Execute initial and remedial training for all users
  • Complete Ad hock reporting and analysis
  • Collaborate with Demand Planning and Sales to ensure that demand forecasts are ccurate for three months out and that systems align (BPC/Trade Pro)
    • Responsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP and SQF requirements.
    • Responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to your manager
    • Responsible for partnering with others; Sharing knowledge, skills and information within your team and across functional areas.
    • Responsible for enhancing technical and functional competencies, as well as professional and leadership development



  • General knowledge of business, finance or other related field.


Education, Experience, & Knowledge:

  • In the process of obtaining a business, finance or related degree

Skills & Competencies:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint required.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Abiity to multitask and work in a team environment with people outside your department
  • Desire to think cognitively and work through problems
  • Strong analytical skills and systematic approach to problem solving
  • Excellent organizational/time management skills
