The Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing ongoing support to the assigned business unit in the areas of employee relations, workforce planning, recruitment, retention and regulatory compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provides hands-on support in a broad range of HR functions including employee relations, recruitment/retention, employee engagement, performance management, training and development.
Provides coaching, direction and recommendations to the assigned management and employee groups.
Ensures consistent application of HR policies and procedures across all supporting organizations.
Oversees all employment related investigations and participates in hearings.
Maintains responsibility for organization compliance with federal, state and local legislation pertaining to all personnel matters.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize, coordinate, and manage multiple activities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated professional maturity and ability to handle confidential information.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Strong sense of urgency to complete tasks.
Advanced Microsoft Office applications skills.
Bilingual; Spanish preferred, not required.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Experience with HR software platforms such as HRIS, applicant tracking and training management.
