Overview

The Manufacturing Control Analyst is responsible for coordinating work order activities to ensure appropriate inventory and labor resources. This position also monitors accuracy of production reporting and researches all discrepancies.

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Releases work orders for production.  Prints case and pallet ID labels.
  • Reviews and monitors accuracy for production reporting and communicates problem areas to management.  Ensures that scanning transactions and corrections are done accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Runs work order variance reports, investigates discrepancies and make any necessary corrections.
  • Reports work order labor and closes work orders in QAD.
  • Runs and follows scheduling report for work cell. Communicates any problems/issues with scheduler.
  • Creates WMS work order demands.
  • Audits production locations.
  • Modifies work order pick list when necessary. Trains employees in WMS scanning when necessary. Participates and initiates continuous improvement activities for work cell to improve performance.
  • Responsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP, SQF and regulatory requirements.
  • Aware and accountable for maintaining and documenting preventative controls necessary to ensure food safety and quality.
  • Responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to management.
  • Responsible for partnering with others, sharing knowledge, skills and information within assigned team and across functional areas.
  • Responsible for enhancing technical and functional competencies, as well as professional and leadership development.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two plus year of inventory control or manufacturing experience.
  • Forklift certification, preferred.
  • Good computer skills including WMS and Excel.
  • Good math aptitude.

Job Specific Requirements:

 

In the event that the manufacturing control analyst is absent, the department manager is responsible for providing an equally qualified person to cover this position.

 

This position is subject to mandatory overtime based on business needs.
