Handle administrative support for a variety of Human Resources functions.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist employees with questions and direct employee through proper channels.
  • Answers phones, handles typing, filing, distributes mail for the department, and miscellaneous clerical work.
  • Works with security access software to create badges for new employees or replacement badges.
  • Tracksw employee attendance points for Human Resources Manager.
  • Orders and tracks employee uniforms.
  • Assists with recruiting and new hire orientation activities.
  • Prepares new hire packets for Office employees.
  • Responsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP and SQF requirements.
  • Responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to your manager.
  • Responsible for partnering with others; Sharing knowledge, skills and information within your team and across functional areas.
  • Responsible for enhancing technical and functional competencies, as well as professional and leadership development.


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two plus years of Human Resources experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
  • Word processing, spreadsheet, and 10-key capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal


Job Specific Requirements:

In the event that the Human Resources Assistant is absent, the Department Manager is responsible for providing an equally qualified person to cover this position.
